About Fonuts, “The origin of fōnuts…As the story goes, it all started with a cup of coffee, and the need for something yummy to go with it! L.A. native Nancy Truman always loved pairing her morning and, okay, afternoon, coffee with baked goods. But after discovering her own gluten intolerance, she realized how hard it was to find a quality, all-natural gluten-free treat. All the gf snacks out there were either too sweet, or had the consistency of dirt, and usually both!”
“fōnuts creator Nancy Truman and her husband Thom Furtado have embraced this evolution and transformed all your favorite flavors to 100% gluten-free, with low-to-no sugar added…while always expanding the popular new seasonal and vegan flavors.”

Radley ‘Gluten Free Prince’ reviewed every donut flavor
Unfortunately, Radley got so excited that he forgot to take picture of the donut….but it did look amazing. So we forgave him, because he reviewed two donut shops for us…so here is a graphic instead.
Sprinkle Mania Donut
“Sprinkle Mania is AMAZING its soooo good. The sprinkles just crunch in my mouth wonderfully. Although it is a little dry on the inside it was definitely one of my favorites. Also it was a little hard on the outside and sweet, dence, and filling.”
Vanilla Sprinkle Donut
“Got excited again and cut this one in half to share with my brother before I took a pic, so that’s why you can see it’s cut in half in the photo. Vanilla Sprinkle was pretty good actually but it was also a little dry and thick. It was delicious. The outside was flaky and hard but in all i liked it.”
Pumpkin Spice
“Pumpkin Spice was definitely not my favorite. I don’t really like pumpkin spice so this wasn’t really the best for me it was also quite dry.”
Chocolate Peppermint Crunch
“AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN BOYS AND GIRLS CATS AND DOGS FISH AND BIRDS THE BEST DONUT IN ALL OF HISTORY. No but seriously this was the best donut I’ve ever had in my LIFE. it was so good i almost cried it was crunchy moist and very chocolatey it was by far my favorite out of all of them.”
Cookies and Cream
“This donut was rich with taste and filled me with happiness. It was both dense and dry but it was amazing and tasted delicious the icing was hard and flaky.”

Olivia in 8th grade reviewed every donut flavor:
We’re Sorry…
Unfortunately, when we picked up the donuts from Erin McKenna’s Bakery. The donut flavors were not written on the box. The website doesn’t have pictures that correlate to the names of the donuts. So we will do our best to display reviews and pictures. And naming them whatever seems feasible.
All the other bakeries reviewed this weekend, made it easy for the kids to follow (Fonuts, Karma Baker, and Ring).
Berry Donut
This donut tasted like a berry cereal. Even though it’s vegan, it has a wonderful taste of butter and sweetness like berries picked in a forest near your cozy cotton home.

This classic chocolate donut is identical to a soft and moist chocolate cake. With more dark chocolate than milk chocolate, the frosting is bold and perfect for chocolate lovers!
Cinnamon Bun Donut
Mmmm… cinnamon rolls! This sweet donut is topped with cinnamon and sugar. Maybe it reminds you of your dear grandma’s baking, or a sweet cinnamon churro in the fall!
