How to Honor Working Moms
How to Honor Working Moms
“I am grateful for the moms who entrusted us thru our community service, ‘Our Moms Work‘ to help you by listening and giving you strategic advice that brought joy and relief to your life.”
5 Ways to Honor Working Moms
- Be grateful that they give their best every day to care of family, household, and work.
- Give working moms the flexibility, they need to multi-juggle their crazy responsibilities.
- Invest in their development; so they become more value-driven, and grow from within.
- Promote from within, give raises, and applaud your employee’s (working mom) successes.
- Listen and give them a safe space to Complain for Good; so they can improve your company.
“If you are an employer, count your lucky stars; to hire moms. They give 110% to care of their kids, and almost never quit….and get the job done!”

Grateful to Use Recruiting for Good to Help Moms Fund Start-Ups
Over the last 20 years, we have helped companies find talented professionals great jobs; and generated proceeds to fund causes.
We are ending 2020, and continuing in 2021 by shifting our focus and helping fund mom start-ups. Why? Why not. Actually, since 2017, Recruiting for Good has been sponsoring community service, ‘Our Moms Work;’ a business and career cost free mentoring service.
Between Thanksgiving and New Years, we’re offering our recruiting service on a flat fee basis; and donating 50% of proceeds to help fund mom start-ups. We’re are starting our funding efforts to help Davina Kaonohi’s Element Apothec. Last year, Davina helped Recruiting for Good connect with companies, moms, and nonprofits. Her company is becoming B Certified.

The Art of Caring
The Art of Caring
The blog is inspired by a mom who I mentor…thru Our Moms Work. What moms say can heal us all (anyone who is feeling out of sort, stressed, worried, overwhelmed, not motivated, under appreciated, or vulnerable this is for you).
What I love about mentoring moms is we talk about everything…and in conversations the truth of life is revealed. The emotions, strains, and worries that moms feel for their kids, their lives, and the world all seem to collapse around one theme ‘Do I have the strength (stamina, energy to keep it together)’…The answer is yes…moms make it work…but at what cost…
That is why it is so important to downsize your caring for everything…simply care about the people and things you love most. Don’t get swept up in the sentiment of the times, if it does not align with your feelings or values, don’t join in…stay in your lane happy, healthy, and humble.
The Art of Caring Starts with You
Discover what you care about by creating questions (and list of answers)
Have you made a list of your values, what matters to you, what you want out of life, who you want to be, what you want to create, who are your friends (or significant other), how you find self fulfillment, what is success to you, how you become a success, how you succeed at work, how you make a positive impact with family and friends…these are just some ideas…
And when you start…the journey in itself is loving and The Art of Caring really begins.
