Throughout the 4th of July, CEO/Founder of Recruiting for Good will be rewarding Santa Monica moms fun food gift cards to enjoy savings for SAMO’s best coffee, donuts, and pizza.
Why?
We wanted to do something fun and rewarding that heals the community; we live and work in (Santa Monica). And we’re celebrating moms by gifting savings for the best food in the hood…so kids will enjoy the 4th for Good too.

Today I am Grateful for Our Moms Love
Not everyday do I get a chance to thank the moms who have made me a better man, but this is the day. I am grateful that I have had some of the most fulfilling and purposeful relationships with moms.
Moms I am Grateful For…
- My mom who taught me to be a Mensch. And my sisters who I admire, respect, and adore because I always can count on both of them…and they are amazing role models to their kids.
- Since college, I pretty much had girlfriends who were awesome working moms…they were amazing partners in life; and even when they gave me the ‘Nudge…Talk…can you do this or that, can you change this or that;’ they made be a better man.
- Our Moms Work, I created in 2017, to support moms who were looking to return to work, find strategies to improve their lives, and love life.
- Mom, Susan Loughmiller, my community manager for Our Moms Work…always took care of the details; and we had fun hosting parties (my favorite our moms party Belgian Chocolates and Melting Chair Massages).
- Moms Davina Fernholtz and Jen Katz, community managers for Recruiting for Good…thank you for your hard work.
- All the moms, whose kids have participated in my fun creative writing contests (my favorite last year was, ‘If you could change someone’s life, who would it be? Thanksgiving 2019).
- Lastly, I am grateful for all the moms whose kids are participating in our fun social project Kids Get Paid to Eat.
What I learned most from moms is how to be a compassionate and patient listener…thank you…your love inspired me to create The Goodie Foodie Club Passion + Purpose + Play

The inspiration for the fun cause and personal service came from 2 distinctive experiences I had over the past year…
One, I created a fun purposeful breakfast party to inspire the conversation with parents and kids:
“What does it mean to love your job, how does one come about finding passion at work”
The other is, I started a community service in Santa Monica, Our Moms Work to offer cost free career mentoring services…it started with moms, now, I help anyone who asks for help. Working with moms, I got to learn about the painstaking sacrifices they make to prepare their kids for tomorrow’s jobs…unaware of the prohibitive cost for the best summer camps, I became aware that something needed to be done.
“One of the moms I mentored made $54,000 salary last year, the cost of summer camp was close to $5,000 that what 10% of her salary for just 6 weeks of camp.”

We are empowering moms, who share our values, by teaching them how recruiting referrals work, and how funding summer camp happens (we are rewarding referrals with funding). Simply come to our next Fun Mom Brunch at 11 am in Santa Monica, parties are sponsored and held the first Sunday of every month, starting December 2, 2018. There will be camp scholarships for moms who are not capable of participating in Recruiting for Good; that will be funded by empowering moms who don’t need summer camp funding, but love luxury travel (Best Food Wine Party weekends in Maui, Cayman Islands, and Aspen, and exclusive luxury vacation savings with the brands that kids love, and that never give discounts, because they always sell out…you know the ones I am talking about).
