Imagine a World Where Everyone Traveled for Good

With Thanksgiving behind us, we look to Christmas and New Years to seek meaning and give purpose to our lives. The questions that often come up are; what will next year bring? How can I contribute? Will I find adventure, love, or a great new job?

What if all that was possible…..We launched our co+op to give people opportunities to enjoy life, make a difference, and to travel the world. Our mission is to make life better for all. We are using recruiting for good collaboratively to help people. People join our co+op by making referrals that enable us to use recruiting for good; executives to retain us for searches, and people looking for jobs.

People Make a Difference

People who join our Co+Op (members) help end abuse, hunger, and poverty. We are donating 20% of fulltime placements (every fulltime placement can sponsor 4 children in an orphanage for the entire year). Here is the list of nonprofits we are serving in 2014;

Corazon De Vida (Orphans), Kitt Crusaders (Rescue Pets), Olive Crest (Foster Care), Venice Family Clinic (Medical Care), Wolf Connection (Therapy Animals), WTLC (End Domestic Violence).

People Earn Rewards

Every time a Co+Op member makes a referral and it results in us making a placement. We share proceeds to fund one of the nonprofits on our site. And the member earns a portion of proceeds to travel with any partner on We Travel for Good.

Funding Travel that Makes a Difference

Co+Op members can also earn funding for; safaris, honeymoons, and destination weddings. Members create a travel fund. We use recruiting placements to raise funds for their travel. And match monies raised $1 for $1 to donate monies to nonprofits.

We look forward to serving and using recruiting for good to benefit your life, join our co+op today to enjoy life and make a difference.

Happy Holiday from Recruiting for Good

How to Fund Your Study Abroad and Make a Difference Too

Travel Teaches Compassion

“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” Maya Angelou

“We want to live in a country where anyone can afford to study abroad, learn, teach, and transform the world” the staff at recruiting for good.

Inspired By USC Freshmen

Recently, USC freshmen Alex Zhang and Ethan Mizrahi inspired us to offer our funding solution for study abroad programs.

Whether you want to learn how to make Gelato in Italy, or learn to speak Chinese in China, or learn about diplomacy in Milan; there is an endless possibilities to expand you mind when you travel and study abroad.

Our mission is to use recruiting for good collaboratively to help people make a difference. We are excited to help local Southern California parents fund high school and college summer abroad programs. And are willing to raise up to $10,000 per participating child and match monies raised to fund local causes and nonprofits.

3 Reasons to Study Abroad (information from Vistawide)

1) Study abroad enhances employment opportunities: Did you know that only 4% of U.S. undergraduates ever study abroad? Yet, the world continues to become more globalized, American countries are increasingly investing dollars abroad, and companies from countries around the world continue to invest in the international market.

2)  Study abroad allows you get to know another culture first-hand. Cultural differences are more than just differences in language, food, appearances, and personal habits. A person’s culture reflects very deep perceptions, beliefs, and values that influence his or her way of life and the way that s/he views the world. Students who experience cultural differences personally can come to truly understand where other cultures are coming from.

3) The U.S. Senate issued a resolution to raise awareness and to help increase the number of U.S. students studying abroad. “Ensuring that the citizens of the United States are globally literate is the responsibility of the educational system of the United States.”

On a side note, at Recruiting for Good ,we are passion advocates of world travel; that is why we reward travel to people who participate in our social funding programs.

How do you qualify to fund your study abroad program?

1) Connect with Carlos@retainsourcing.com, he is the founder, senior recruiter, and your humble collaborative partner.

2) Introduce your social contacts, and recruiting for good will generate proceeds on your behalf to fund your kid’s or benefactor’s summer study abroad program.

3) Recruiting for Good will match dollar for dollar raised to donate proceeds to a nonprofit, school, or university of your choice.

Three Ways Yoga Studios Can Inspire Social Giving Locally

Love Heart

Three Ways Yoga Studios Can Inspire Social Giving Locally? I am always thinking about how I can inspire people to make a difference. I live in Santa Monica, CA, there must be close to 100 yoga studios in our small community; each vying to attract the same clients.

“In the last year, 15 million people regularly participated in yoga in the United States and more than $27 billion was spent on yoga products.”

Most people these days are looking to align themselves, shop, and buy from brands and companies that make a difference. Where it was ok; a couple of years to donate monies to some African country. I think it is way cooler and much more acceptable to help your local community, family, friends, schools, and nonprofits. Knowing who you are personally affecting is much more impactful, and meaningful.

Partnership For Better Tomorrow

Here are Some Cool Ideas for Yoga Studios to Inspire Social Giving Locally

1) Create a fund for people who can’t afford to take yoga… like a one for one program but for local people. (I know there are donation based yoga, but what if you want to take yoga at Equinox, or do 1 on 1 yoga session? It should be available to all).

2) Create a fund so people could afford to travel abroad and experience global yoga retreats. A percentage of each yoga retreat creates a scholarship to reward people who volunteer in the community.

3) How about use yoga retreats to raise money for local social causes, schools, or start-ups. A certain percentage helps locally.

YOGA INTERNATIONAL

How is Our Co+Op Inspiring the Yoga Community to Make a Difference?

Every person who joins our Co+Op’s “We Yoga for Good” initiative and helps us raise funds for social good locally in 2014, will be rewarded; a $500 gift card to shop at either Lululemon or Athleta (whichever the person prefers), earn travel rewards for any International Yoga retreat, and we will gift a year long membership to any participating yoga studio (if you are a yoga studio, interested in helping us make a difference locally, and be included in our list, contact us to join today). If you are an independent instructor, we love you too, and have programs to reward your clients’ with 1 on 1 yoga sessions; and help you fund yoga retreats that make a difference.

WOLF CONNECTION

One of the local nonprofits that we are helping fund in 2014 is Wolf Connection, click here to find out more.

For the top 10 women who help us raise money for social causes, we are rewarding a Paris Shopping and Yoga retreat in 2014 with Yvette Eyzaguirre-Myrner.
