How to Serve People for Good

How to Serve People for Good

1) Commit to making it your purpose to help others for the rest of your life.

2) Be willing to accept help, feedback, and support from others.

3) Do it because people are looking to be inspired, and mentored.

4) Be humble, compassionate, and live in your heart.

5) Give of yourself fully, in your own unique way.

Great Lesson In Giving to Others

Be joyful that you found your way to give. Give of yourself through your expertise, and use it as a tool for GOOD. Do it to benefit both the person you are serving and you (unless you are a philanthropist writing billions of dollars and investing in good).

Give to the things and people that matter to you. Know yourself and have “Skin in the Game” (what are your personal results that will happen for you in your life, if you do follow through). There must be something greater than yourself, that will push you through your barriers, and that you are willing to risk the relationship, so that you do the best possible job for everyone in mind.

Learn to Say No

We are limited by what we can do. Be true to yourself and others.

It’s Because of Others that I Service People for Good

I am grateful for men and women who have touched my life, continuing to mentor and reflect on how show up in the world. I am also grateful for mentoring Mary Jacobs, who started me on a path, and I recognized the power of a mentor relationship. Thank you for trusting me to serve you.

5 Reasons Helping People Make a Difference

Lately, I have been running into people whose concept of doing GOOD has to be some grandiose idea like peace in the Middle East or feeding the world. That is only half the story. I think making a difference and keeping it simple; can be anything you want it to be. Want to make it meaningful? Then, make it personal; choose something that matters to you.

Doing GOOD, can be as simple as helping people. How about helping your family and friends have a great life. GOOD Fathers and mothers are committed to make life great for their kids, and that makes a difference. Simply, helping people make a difference is GOOD.

5 Reasons Helping People Make a Difference

1) They make the greatest difference; giving of their time and effort without request.

2) They take the initiative and participate in life, and make it part of their daily living. They make the best leaders, role models, and mentors.

3) Organizations and companies do not function, create, or transform; without people who make a difference.

4) The greatest impact is made by people who continually show up because they are committed to make a difference.

5) When there is something missing, a problem need fixing, or helping needs to happen; people who love to make a difference are keenly attuned to what needs to be done.

I am grateful to connect to my purpose. I found my place among men, women, and children. I love helping people, for me there is no greater joy than to see a smiling face. I am often touched and amazed by the impact I make in people’s lives. And I look forward to inspiring people that doing GOOD, is as easy as helping people make a difference.

5 Reasons to Fund School Travel for Good

“Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.” Mary Ritter Beard

As parents and leaders it is our job to prepare the next generation for the challenges and obstacles life may bring. We at recruiting for good are making it our mission to help people change and see the world. And believe the best place to start inspiring change is in schools.

5 Reasons to Fund School Travel for Good

1) Travel teaches; that we are all the same, we breath, we drink, and we laugh like everyone else. Travel teaches compassion.

2) Travel teaches real life lessons about all the things we learn in books.

3) Travel inspires creative thinking. Young people are more in-tune with what is happening around the world.

4) Travel inspires participation. Seeing a problem, children will start their own causes to try to help and make a difference.

5) Travel is fun. With all the pressures of school, and education. Sometimes it just good to enjoy life and have fun.

“It’s better to hang out with people better than you.” Warren Buffet

Travel to Find People Better Than You

One of the best ways to learn about life, and find out who you are, and where you belong is when you travel away from your comfort. People will surround you, thinking you are better than them, and you will be attracted to them for the same reasons. Only to find out that you are all the same; beautiful human beings.

I want to live in a world where people unplug from their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; and connect and engage in person (travel). “Look me in the eye and tell me you like my smile, you miss talking to me, and I will make you laugh.”

Greatest gift we can teach kids is to be themselves.

Let’s make it possible for our kids to find themselves, to genuinely connect to their humanity, and to make the world a better place to work and live.

Inspire your kids school to travel for good.

5 Reasons to Join Co-Op, Do Good, and Travel

“We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community… Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.” Cesar Chavez

People often ask me what I love about my life….”I love helping people.” With that said, I have decided to transform my agency into a co-op; so that I can use recruiting to generate proceeds for good and help people enjoy life and make a difference.

A Co-Op is (“coop”) or co-operative (“co-op”), an autonomous association of persons who voluntarily cooperate for their mutual, social, economic, and cultural benefit.

“We are using recruiting for good collaboratively to benefit people who participate and enable us to generate and share proceeds for GOOD.”

5 Reasons to Join Co-Op, Do Good, and Travel

1) Co-Op generates proceeds on your behalf so that you can fund your favorite causes; and to travel the world.

2) You can create your own cause or community project and we will help you fund it.

3) With your help, we inspire people to have fun, participate, and make a difference.

4) We reward global travel for you (family and friends) to see the world.

5) Travel rewards can be paid forward to anyone you like in the world (now you can gift travel for Mothers Day, Birthdays, and Teacher Appreciate Day).
