Top 100 Dish in LA Kids Love Colapasta’s Gnocchi

Food Review By LA Foodie…Shay, 6th Grade

“The Gnocchi tastes really great and it smelled amazing, and tasted flavorful. As a matter of fact the word to describe this dish is flavorful. It had many different tastes. Another nice thing about it was very colorful. Gnocchi is one of my favorite foods.”

Colapasta, 1241 Fifth Street Santa Monica, CA 90401

Top 100 Dish in LA Kids Love Dog Haus Hot Dog and Tots

Top 100 Dish in LA Kids Love Dog Haus Hot Dog and Tots

Food Review By LA Foodie…Maya, 6th Grade

“I got a kid’s meal from Dog Haus that had a hot dog and french fries, and a juice box. The hot dog was good and had a Hawaiian Roll Bun. I liked how the meal was small and compact. Just the right size for me. The fries were a little but salty, and the bun was a little big. But I did love the meal all-together. “

Top 100 Dish in LA Kids Love Carnitas Baja Bowl

Top 100 Dish in LA Kids Love Carnitas Baja Bowl

Food Review By LA Foodie…Estella, 6th Grade

“The carnitas bowl was really good and I would get it again. The shredded beef had a lot of flavor, and was good with the vegetables. The rice was a good portion, and had a lot of flavor just like the beans. This dish can be easily shared with two. You won’t be disappointed!”

If God Granted Me One Wish…

If God Granted Me One Wish…

What would you choose…if it’s something else than air…then, I challenge you to create a social project around it. Last 2 months, I have launched different projects (and awards) into the community based on fun food programs (Love to Feed LA). For me food is joy, well-being, energy, love, sharing, and inspiration.

“I create fun community projects without attachment to ego (success or failure), if there is interest, and participation I keep it going….if not, I drop it.” Carlos, Founder Fun+Advocate Love to Feed LA

This past weekend, I launched Kids Get Paid to Eat + Review the Best Food in the Hood. I had 10 families in both the SFV and Westside sign up…so far we have done 11 reviews. Kids are creating their own special projects, Radley in 6th grade has Type 1 Diabetes, and Celiac Disease (he is reviewing top 10 SFV restaurants with gluten free dishes). We have a couple of more LA Foodie Kids on fun special creative writing assignments.

Our goal is to review 100 restaurants by July 1st, 2020 (Recruiting for Good is paying for all the delivered food, to save families money, and let kids know that we appreciate their participation). Kids choose whichever restaurant they want to review, and dish. They enjoy the food, and then create all the content (take picture of food, and write a review).

Our mission is simple to make life fun and rewarding for kids. Teach kids positive life values, and work habits. And perhaps prepare them for tomorrow’s jobs too. We created LA’s Funnest Weekend Gig…Kids Get Paid to Eat.

Kids also learn how to use their talent for good, become value driven members of the community, and inspire others.

“Special thanks to Kim Rouggie who connected me to awesome moms whose kids are in the girls scouts.”  Carlos, Founder Fun+Advocate
