Thank You Fathom for Inspiring Gratitude

Thank You Fathom for Inspiring Gratitude

Special Thanks to Kim in Sales Department at Fathom for Believing in Our Intentional Endeavor…

Thank You Fathom for Inspiring Gratitude…The back story, Fathom rewarded me a trip to Dominican Republic in early February to experience their amazing impact+travel trips. At the end of the journey, the Fathom sales team rewarded me a second trip to join them after their official launch in April. I responded in kind, and said “Why don’t I create a fun creative contest, so someone in the community can win the trip to enjoy Fathom, and make a difference too.” And they agreed.

The topic for the creative writing contest was the following, “We know universally that the word ‘Love’ can make a difference and change the world; choose another word that can make a difference, and tell us why.”

After 5 creative writing events in March, and 68 entries, two awesome judges; David Andersen and Michelle Hart, chose a winner…Linnea M. Duvall…her word was Gratitude…and this is her inspiring entry, “Gratitude can change the world,  because as each of us is fully grateful and aware of all that we have, rather than striving and striving for more, we can begin to look around ourselves and see what our gratitude filled hearts can bestow on others to change and uplift their lives. As each life is uplifted and gifted there will be a “pay it forward” movement that can change the world!♥”

Linnea and a friend will be rewarded round-trip flights from LAX to enjoy a 7-Day Fathom cruise to Dominican Republic; “It’s a new kind of cruise that combines your love of travel with your desire to make a difference.”  To learn more visit Fathom Impact+Travel trips.

Recruiting for Good Thanks Fathom for Inspiring Gratitude

Thank you for allowing us to create fun creative writing events that inspired people and travel. We look forward to using recruiting for good collaboratively; so more people can experience Impact+Travel and see the world for good.

What did you do this month to inspire gratitude?

January 1, 2015

And The Winner Is….

That’s right we just awarded one kid 2 tickets to the Superbowl. In November, Recruiting for Good sponsored creative writing competition for best sports story written by a middle school and high school student.

And the winner is Trenton, a student from Olympic High School, in Santa Monica, CA. We just got off the phone and spoke to his father who had no idea, his son had participated…he was speechless. In the background you could hear Trenton ecstatically yelling.

Big Thanks

1) To all the kids who participated in our competition.

2) To all the parents who drove the kids to our events.

3) To Ms. Liaw, teacher at Olympic High School for inspiring Trenton.

A special thanks to our judges; Craig Bergman (Wordup Kids), David Andersen (David Andersen Pianos), and Racheal Thompson (Racheal Thompson Photography).

Biggest Lesson of Competition and Life

The only way to win is to participate.

2015 & Beyond

We are grateful and humbled to make 2015 remarkable for Trenton and his dad.

Congratulations….and happy new year…from Recruiting for Good.
